Chief Executive Carrie Lam will lead a delegation to Beijing on September 30 to participate in activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. 

The delegation will be made up of more than 240 members from various sectors of the community.

Mrs Lam will return to Hong Kong in the evening of October 1 via Shenzhen.

During her absence, Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung will be Acting Chief Executive.
