The Government today announced two senior appointments.

Director of Marine Maisie Cheng will take up the post of Permanent Secretary for the Environment/Director of Environmental Protection on May 2.

Director-General of Communications Agnes Wong will take up the post of Director of Marine on May 14.

Secretary for the Civil Service Joshua Law said Ms Cheng and Miss Wong are seasoned administrative officers with proven leadership and management skills.

Mr Law added he is confident they will continue to serve with professionalism in their new positions.
