Joshua Law to visit Beijing, Hangzhou

Secretary for the Civil Service Joshua Law will lead a delegation of Government officials to Beijing and Hangzhou tomorrow for a national studies course and visit programme.

 

Comprising 11 Permanent Secretaries and Department Heads, the delegation will attend a course at the Chinese Academy of Governance in Beijing and study Hangzhou's experience in promoting innovation and technology, and smart city development.

 

The Civil Service Bureau said the trip will reinforce the delegation's understanding of major national policies and the nation’s future development.

 

It will also strengthen working relations and exchanges between Hong Kong and Mainland officials, the bureau added.

 

The delegation will travel back to Hong Kong on November 24.
