The Chief Executive has appointed Lo Yan-lai as Civil Aid Service Commissioner for two years from January 1.

Secretary for Security John Lee welcomed the appointment.

“Mr Lo joined the Civil Aid Service as a volunteer member in 1981 and was promoted to Deputy Commissioner in 2016. He is deeply committed to the service and has profound experience in its work.”

He said he is confident the team will continue to provide quality and reliable auxiliary emergency services to the community under Mr Lo’s leadership.

Mr Lee thanked outgoing Commissioner Ernest Lee for his valuable contribution over the past 10 years.
