Primary One Admission System application forms will be available from September 5 to October 2, the Education Bureau announced today.

Children born on or before December 31, 2013, are eligible to join the system, except those who have attended primary schools or those who have been allocated a Primary 1 place.

The forms, explanatory notes and information leaflets are available from kindergartens, childcare centres, district offices, and the Education Bureau's regional education offices and school places allocation section.

The completed application form together with all supporting documents should be submitted directly to a government or aided primary school of the parents' choice between September 24 and October 2.

Only one application should be submitted for each child. If parents are found to have applied to more than one government or aided primary school, their application will be rendered void.

If parents only apply for the Primary One Admission Central Allocation, they can return the completed application forms with supporting documents from September 24 to January 25 to the bureau's School Places Allocation Section at Office 2, 2/F Manulife Financial Centre, 223 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong.

Meanwhile, the Committee on Home-School Co-operation will upload the Primary School Profiles 2018 e-version in Chinese and English to its website on September 5 to help parents choose schools for their children.
