$8.3b June deficit recorded

The Government recorded an $8.3 billion deficit in June, the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau announced today.

 

Expenditure was $54.2 billion with a revenue of $45.9 billion for the month.

 

Government expenditure for the three months ending June amounted to $128.2 billion, with a revenue of $103.8 billion, bringing the cumulative year-to-date deficit to $24.4 billion.

 

Fiscal reserves stood at $1.08 trillion as of June 30.
