The Monetary Authority today issued an alert on a phishing email claiming to be from the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation.

The phishing email address is customerservice@hsbc.com.hk.

The bank said it has no connection with the email and reminded customers not to open the attachment in it.

Anyone who has provided personal information or conducted financial transactions through the email should contact Police at 2860 5012 and the bank at 2748 8288.
