Secretary for the Environment KS Wong (centre) visits a plastic bottle recycling plant in Tokyo.

Secretary for the Environment KS Wong concluded his Tokyo trip today by attending an environmental meeting and touring recycling plants.

 

At the C40 Regional Meeting for East, Southeast Asia & Oceania of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, Mr Wong discussed various regional environmental issues.

 

He then continued his participation in the Tokyo Forum for Clean City & Clear Sky on its second-day session to speak on the measures Hong Kong has taken to improve its air quality.

 

After attending a press conference held by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Mr Wong visited two plastic bottle recycling plants to see the latest recycling technology.

 

He will return to Hong Kong tonight.
