Composite interest rate rises
May 17, 2018
The composite interest rate increased by two basis points to 0.4% at the end of April, the Monetary Authority said today.
It reflected increases in the weighted funding costs for both deposits and interbank funds for the period.
The composite interest rate is a measure of the average cost of funds of banks.
