The Labour Department will hold a job fair at Yau Tong Community Hall from May 15 to 17.

Sixty-nine organisations from the catering, retail, property management and business services sectors will offer 5,600 job places.

Positions include summer part-time sales worker, clerk, cargo services officer, hospital operation assistant, engineer assistant, investigation trainee, receptionist, security guard, driver, storekeeper, waiter/waitress, chef, technician, cashier and packer.

About 80% of the vacancies are for full-time jobs.

Most salaries range from $9,000 to $16,000.

Most positions require Secondary 6 education or below and 74% are open people without work experience.

The job fair will be open from 11am to 5.30pm.
