Student career programme launched

May 9, 2018

The Labour Department today launched the "Career Let's go" programme to help secondary school graduates enter the job market.

It provides training and employment services so secondary school graduates can get the latest job information, devise a career plan and enhance their employability.

The department has listed a large number of job vacancies and details of various employment fairs on the programme's website.

Youth Employment Start (YES) will also launch its Happy@Work programme to enhance graduates' job-hunting skills with a series of training courses, talks and an interactive drama.

Young people can receive career assessment and consultation at YES and are encouraged to enrol in the Youth Employment & Training Programme (YETP) which provides comprehensive pre-employment and on-the-job training.

The department will hold the Award Ceremony of Most Improved Trainees of YETP 2018 & Concert in August to showcase trainees' progress.
