The Monetary Authority issued an alert today about a fraudulent email claiming to be sent by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation.

The phishing email’s subject is ©HSBC Bank: Swift Invoice Copy: 19-04-2018.

HSBC said it has no connection with the email and reminded clients not to click the attachments in it.

Anyone who has provided personal information or conducted financial transactions through the email should contact the bank at 2748 8288 and Police at 2860 5012.
