Secretary for Security John Lee toured a social service centre and attended a meeting on tackling crime during a visit to Tai Po today.

Mr Lee first visited the New Territories East Social Service Centre of the Society of Rehabilitation & Crime Prevention where he met with rehabilitated people.

He encouraged them to reintegrate into society and establish a positive outlook on life.

The organisation provides community care and rehabilitation services to help convicts and those released from prison.

Mr Lee also attended a meeting of the District Fight Crime Committee of Tai Po and later met with District Councillors.
