Police sent to Taiwan for murder case

March 21, 2018

Police officers have been sent to collect information on a murder case in Taiwan in which a Hong Kong man is accused of killing his girlfriend.

Secretary for Security John Lee made the statement today after attending a Legislative Council meeting.

"I think at this stage the most important thing that we need to do is to investigate and collect evidence that will assist in the investigation and in due course assist the court in deciding how we go about this case.

"The Police have sent officers to the other jurisdiction so as to examine how the investigation can be taken forward."
