The Centre for Health Protection urged the public today to take precautions against Dengue fever as a new imported case has been confirmed.

The patient had been to the Philippines during the incubation period.

As of February 22, eight cases have been confirmed so far this year, all of which were imported.

The centre emphasised the importance of taking anti-mosquito precautions both locally and while travelling.
