Interested in finding out more about the People's Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison? The Museum of Coastal Defence is hosting an exhibition on the garrison until January 6.
Exhibits and displays show its formation, as well as its duties, training and contributions while stationed in Hong Kong.
The garrison entered the city on July 1, 1997, and has conducted defence duties since.
The museum is located at 175 Tung Hei Road, Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong, and is open from 10am to 5pm. It is closed Thursdays, except public holidays. Opening hours extend to 6pm weekends and public holidays. Admission is $10 but free Wednesdays.
