Visit the Space Museum to see the Alps

Explore the Alps and some of Europe's most fascinating scenery from the comfort of your armchair by seeing the Space Museum's latest Omnimax presentation.

The 45-minute show The Alps will run until November 3, featuring three climbers - John Harlin, and Robert and Daniela Jasper - scaling the Eiger in Switzerland.

The Alps span more than 1,100km from southern France to Slovenia, consisting of 1,800 glaciers and 48 mountains of 4,000 metres or higher.

The show will be screened daily at 1.30pm, 5pm and 8.30pm. The museum closes Tuesdays except public holidays.

Tickets are available at the museum box office and URBTIX outlets for $24 and $32. Full-time students will receive a half-price concession.
