Dance production explores relationships
Unreachable Distance
In motion: Dance theatre Unreachable Distance will be staged at the Black Box Theatre in March.

Choreographer-dancer Ku Ming-shen and DanceArt Hong Kong will present a dance theatre production Unreachable Distance in March.

 

Ku, who is Taiwan Ku & Dancers Dance's Artistic Director,  will join DanceArt dancers Andy Wong, Francis Leung, Yvette Huang, Abby Chan and Antoinette Mak to show the audience how silence creates the farthest distance between individuals.

 

The performance will be staged on March 26 and 27 at 8pm, and March 28 at 5pm, at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $180 at all URBTIX outlets.

 

Improvisation workshops, directed by Ku in English and Putonghua, will be held at 7.30pm on March 15 and 17 at the Cultural Centre in GR2, 8/F, Grand Theatre Backstage. They are suitable for dance students and dance and theatre practitioners. Tickets are $80 per session.
