Masterstroke: Ding Yanyong's works will be displayed at the Museum of Art until April 5.

About 200 works by artist Ding Yanyong will be displayed at the Museum of Art December 19 to April 5.

Ding was a master of Chinese ink and oil painting, and seal carving. His work covered a wide range of genres and was characterised by a distinctive personality.

To tie in with the exhibition a series of lectures will be held until February. An open forum will also be held January 18, moderated by former Chair Professor of Chinese University's Department of Fine Arts Mayching Kao. The activities are free and 150 seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
