An exhibition on replicas of historical documents portraying Dr Sun Yat-sen's political life will open tomorrow.
To be held at the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum, the show features 28 replicas of historical documents from the Second Historical Archives of China, depicting Dr Sun’s political journey during the early years of the Republic of China.
Highlights include an order issued by Dr Sun to Minister of Foreign Affairs Wong Chong-wai to prohibit the export of labourers, a letter from the Ministry of Finance to the Bank of Communications to confiscate the bank assets of Dr Sun and others accused of treason, and his letter to Chiang Kai-shek to explain the importance of the Northern Expedition.
The exhibition is jointly presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and the Second Historical Archives of China.
