Art combined:  Under Secretary for Home Affairs Florence Hui (centre) opens the Fashion + Paper, Scissors & Rock exhibition at the Heritage Museum.

The Heritage Museum is holding the Fashion + Paper, Scissors & Rock exhibition until February 6.

 

It combines fashion design and craftsmanship to showcase the unique culture of Hong Kong.

 

Officiating at the opening ceremony today Under Secretary for Home Affairs Florence Hui said the show's visitors can feel the passion of Hong Kong designers and the persistence of traditional craftsmen while appreciating the creative exhibits.

 

She said she hopes the exhibition inspires people to reflect on the better preservation and inheritance of traditional craft skills.

 

Young fashion designers and artists participating in the exhibition include Koyo William Cheung, Meiyi Cheung, Tricia Flanagan, Kenny Li and Singchin Lo.
