The Heritage Discovery Centre will hold the Listen to Hong Kong exhibition from tomorrow, showing how sound as an artistic language connects everyday experiences with creative expression.
It helps visitors understand sound art and its multifaceted possibilities, and inspires them to question the practice of listening, voicing and using sound.
Participating artists Cédric Maridet, Ellen Pau and Samson Young have developed their work on sonic memories of Hong Kong to share their everyday experiences.
There are free workshops to enrich visitors’ listening and sonic experience, as well as the appreciation of sound art.
The exhibition is organised by the Museum of Art with art group soundpocket as the education programmes partner. It runs until October 30.
