The Biodiversity Gallery opened at the Science Museum today as a new permanent exhibition to raise public awareness on the importance of biodiversity conservation.
The gallery recreates diverse natural environments and habitats, allowing visitors to explore nature in a visual, tactile and thought-provoking manner through interactive exhibits, dioramas and specimen displays.
The gallery has four distinctive themes - "Local Biodiversity", "Variety in the World", "Changes through Time" and "Nature Lab".
A wide range of activities will be held at the museum, including a science day camp, tree tours and interactive workshops. The activities will be conducted in Cantonese.
