Forty-two museums and cultural venues will open free to the public on May 14 and 15 for International Museum Day.
They include the Museum of History, Museum of Art, the Heritage Museum, the Science Museum, and the Space Museum.
On-going special exhibitions include the Science Museum's "Collider: Step inside the World's Greatest Experiment" and the Museum of Coastal Defence's "Braving the Storm: Hong Kong under Japanese Occupation".
The Museum of Art and Space Museum, which are now closed and partially closed for renovation, will hold special programmes and educational activities.
Free admission does not apply to the special exhibition "Claude Monet: The Spirit of Place" being held at the Heritage Museum, shows at the Space Museum's Stanley Ho Space Theatre, and screenings at the Film Archive.
