The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will present the Selected Works of Sit Kok-sin programme in May to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Cantonese opera star's death.
Opera virtuosi Ng Chin-fung, Wong Chiu-kwan, Wan Yuk-yu, Johnson Yuen, Kwok Kai-fai, Lam Po-chu and Sun Kim-long will perform.
Marriage Made in Heaven will be staged on May 10 at Tsuen Wan Town Hall, The Smile of a Beauty will be performed on May 28 at Tuen Mun Town Hall, and The Dream Meeting between Emperor Wu of Hon & Lady Wei will be presented on May 29 at Tai Po Civic Centre.
All performances start at 7.30pm.
A free post-performance talk in Cantonese will be held on June 1 at the Cultural Centre. Speakers will include Ng Chin-fung and Wong Chiu-kwan.
