Local theatre company We Draman Group will stage American playwright Margaret Edson's award-winning play Wit in January, featuring renowned actress Lo Koon-lan and Hong Kong Drama Award-winning director Tang Wai-kit.
Wit, which centres on a woman's battle with cancer, won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1999.
The cast also includes Pak Yiu-charn, May Fu, Chan Kin-ho, Ng Fung-ming, Shum Kwan-yi, Sarina Cheung, Leung Chak-yu and Tong Ngai-ting.
Presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, Wit (in Cantonese) will be performed at 8pm from January 21 to 23 and at 2.30pm on January 23 and 24 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre’s Studio Theatre.
