Italy's Teatro di Piazza o d'Occasione will present its interactive theatre production Farfalle in January, as part of the Leisure & Cultural Services Department's Cheers! series.
Two dancers move, play and paint in the air, depicting the light movements of butterflies, through which the audience can discover the slow but fascinating process of metamorphosis as a chrysalis is transformed into a butterfly.
The Teatro di Piazza o d'Occasione specialises in visual, emotional and immersive theatre, making use of interactive technology to turn a theatre into a playground, allowing the audience to experience the thin borderline between art and play.
The show will be staged on January 8, 9 and 10 at Cultural Centre.
Tickets are available at URBTIX.
