The Shanghai Peking Opera Troupe will kick off the Chinese Opera Festival 2015 in June.
The troupe will stage three classic performances - Farewell My Concubine, How a Dead Cat was Substituted for a New-born Prince and Sun Wukong's Battle at the Spider's Web Grotto at 7.30pm from June 19 to 21 at the Cultural Centre.

Also at the Cultural Centre, the troupe's president and renowned Peking opera artists Shi Yihong and Li Jun will conduct a talk in Putonghua on Shanghai style opera at 7.30pm on June 18. Admission is free.
