The Leisure & Cultural Services Department has launched a mobile app for people to access the vast amount of digitised content in Hong Kong's public libraries, including e-books, and audio and video materials. Some e-books are downloadable for offline viewing.
The Multimedia Information mobile app complements the My Library app launched earlier by the department. It is available free at Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Users can browse the libraries' resources guides and newsletter, winning works of the Hong Kong Creative Writing Awards and Children Literature Awards via the app.
