Wetland Park opened its annual winter highlight event the Bird Watching Festival today.
Running until March, it will highlight the interesting daily habits and living environment of the park's birds.
Themed "Home for Birds", the exhibition will show a variety of bird nests built at various nesting sites, including tree canopies, reeds, muddy shores, tree cavities, eaves and even power boxes, showing how birds adapt to living with humans.
Located on the world's largest East Asian-Australasian Flyway, Hong Kong is visited by hundreds of thousands of migratory birds every year.
Twenty artists from nine countries have created artworks that will be displayed exclusively at the park during the festival.
Visitors can try bird watching during the festival, and take part in guided tours, orienteering games, lectures, nature-in-art classes, binocular-making classes and more.
