A Fun Day will be held at the Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery in Quarry Bay Park on November 23 from 10am to 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
Jointly organised by the Leisure & Cultural Services and the Fire Services departments, the event will feature a water-jet performance by fireboats and an equipment demonstration by firefighters.
Former firefighters will lead the Revisiting the Past guided tour, taking visitors back in time and sharing their experience of working on the fireboat.
The vessel's wheelhouse and engine room will be specially opened for the public to inspect.
