October 30, 2014
Storytelling figurines

Storytelling figurines:  Visitors will be greeted by smiling ceramic figures at the expo.

Ceramics exhibition Clay Story opened at the Central Library today and will run until January 27, to convey the importance of communication and sharing.

Visitors will be treated to the sight of clay figures portraying a scene of storytelling and interaction.

The exhibition is jointly organised by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and St James' Settlement Rehabilitation Services.

A ceramics talk and demonstration will be held on November 9 at 2.30pm for people to learn more about the creative process behind the artworks, their artistic value and the future of ceramic art.

Pottery artists from St James' Creation will also demonstrate their creative skills on-site.

Admission to the exhibition, talk and demonstration is free. For enquiries call 2921 0259.
