Historic churches, temples to open

September 25, 2014

Some of Hong Kong's historic religious buildings will open their doors to the public in October and November, as part of the Heritage Fiesta.

This year's event will feature 11 churches and 11 temples that are either declared monuments or graded buildings.

All the historic buildings taking part in the fiesta will be open to the public for free during specific opening hours. Some will offer free guided tours on a first-come, first-served basis.

A photo exhibition of the featured historic buildings will also be held at Pacific Place in Admiralty from October 7 to 12, and at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui from October 14 to 29.
