Tai O seniors will stage an oral history theatre outreach performance of Below the Lantau Peak: Tai O, The Nostalgic Water Village in Tung Chung on September 27.
It is part of the Community Oral History Theatre Project - Islands District (Tai O), which gathers personal experiences and recollections from Tai O seniors through workshops, providing an opportunity for the villagers to act out their stories on stage.
It is the first time for Tai O seniors to present their performance together with Tung Chung counterparts.
The show, in Cantonese, starts at 3pm. Admission is free.
