Unseen world focus of Omnimax film

August 31, 2014

The Space Museum's new Omnimax show Mysteries of the Unseen World will be screened from tomorrow.

Scientists make use of technology, such as thermal imaging cameras, high-speed cameras, time-lapse photography and electron microscopes, to break through the limitations of sensory organs and see a bizarre realm.

We can learn from nature in creating new exotic materials, such as water-repelling nano-coating and ultra-stiff graphene, and in devising life-changing inventions.

Running until February 28, the 40-minute show will be screened at 1.30pm, 5pm and 8.30pm daily at the museum's Space Theatre, except on Tuesdays when the museum is closed.

Tickets are available at the museum’s box office and via URBTIX.
