Exhibit tests visitors’ physical skills
August 25, 2014
The Move & Play! exhibition at the Hong Kong Science Museum features 20 groups of challenging fun-filled exhibits, all designed to test visitors’ physical skills such as balance and co-ordination.
Visitors can step into a football player’s boots to take a good kick, or act as a goalkeeper to block footballs. Another exhibit has them sit in a wheelchair and move it to follow lights on the floor, while a tightrope challenge tests their balance.
Finnish Science Centre Heureka produced and supplied the exhibition. Museum Assistant Curator Richard Kwok said it can encourage visitors to do more exercise and enhance their knowledge of different senses including sight, hearing, touch, proprioception and balance, as well as the impact of physical exercise on the body.
The exhibition runs until October 29. Click here for details.
