Hong Kong Park will hold guided tours of its aquatic plants exhibition to boost people’s interest in, and knowledge of, the plants.
The free tours will be held every hour between 1pm and 4pm on weekends from August 23 to September 28. Each tour lasts 30 minutes.
Guides will introduce common aquatic plants, including the Indian lotus, the common rush, the galingale plant, the water hyacinth and the parrot's feather, describing their characteristics and growth habits, and interesting scientific information.
Participants should assemble at the park’s Forsgate Conservatory entrance.
Places in the guided tours will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
