Canto-opera stamps to be issued

Hongkong Post will issue a special stamp set on August 21 featuring Cantonese opera costumes.
The stamps feature intricate illustrations of opera costumes modelled on real ones worn in live performances.
The seven distinctive costumes vary in styles and correspond to the identity and social status of different roles.
Official First Day Covers will be on sale for $1.20 each at all post offices from tomorrow.
The stamps and associated philatelic products will be displayed at the General, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsuen Wan, Sha Tin Central and Tuen Mun Central Post Offices.
