Music training scheme invites recruits

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department Music Office is now recruiting intermediate year-one and advanced year-one trainees for its 2014-15 instrumental music training schemes. The application deadline is May 16.
 

The scheme provides training in string, wind and Chinese musical instruments including the violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, alto saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, dizi, erhu, pipa, sheng, zheng, suona, zhongruan and liuyeqin.
 

The training courses are conducted at the Music Office's music centres in Wan Chai, Kwun Tong, Mong Kok, Sha Tin and Tsuen Wan.
 

Annual tuition fees of $2,805 for intermediate level and $3,685 for advanced level are to be paid in four instalments.
