Chinese dance artist Chung Ching will host a lecture series, The Beauty of Chinese Dance, in May and June.
The series will examine Chinese folk dance styles and characteristics to explore the aesthetics and character across Chinese cultures.
The lectures will involve demonstration, exposition and participation to allow the audience to experience the emotions and nuances of dance movements, enriching their knowledge and appreciation of Chinese dance.
Eight talks will be staged at 7.30 pm every Thursday in May and June at the Tuen Mun Town Hall Cultural Activities Hall, covering each of four themes - hands, feet, body and emotions - in two sessions.
