The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will hold the Vinyl Mania carnival at Kwai Tsing Theatre Plaza on May 19.
More than 100 vinyl record covers by artists like the Bee Gees, Air Supply, ABBA, Sam Hui, Alan Tam, and the Tat Ming Pair will be on display, with live music playing throughout the day.
The Aleatory Jazz Ensemble will play jazz classics from the 1940s to the 1960s such as
Moon River and
What a Wonderful World.
Music Twelve, formed by Academy for Performing Arts graduates, will perform new arrangements of famous songs by Teresa Teng and Tsai Chin.
The Gay Singers will sing popular oldies like
Stand by Me. Angela Pang and Shirley Yuen will perform
Stupid Cupid, and Joe Junior and his band will perform
Pretty Woman and
Unchained Melody, among other acts.
