Flautist Peter Chan, guitarist Stephen Chau and composer Hui Cheung-wai will jointly present
Vigorous Winds & Tough Strings on June 6 at City Hall.
The local trio of renowned musicians will perform flute and guitar classics including Ibert's
Entr'acte and Paganini's
Caprice No.24.
These will be followed by two of Hui's masterpieces –
June's Poems, and the title piece,
Vigorous Winds & Tough Strings, which was specially composed for the concert by Hui and his friends Martin Choy and Jensen Lung.
The concert is presented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, and will be staged at 8pm.
