A trio of concerts in February and March will feature Cantonese opera songs and spirit music, performed by popular artists Cheung Yim-hung, Chow Chung-nga, Tang Siu-wai, Fung Kwai-sum, To Ho-wan and Yip Wai-fun.
The programme includes
Lovers' Reunion at the Milky Way,
A Hungry Horse Shaking Its Bells,
Lion Dance,
Thunder in a Drought,
Butterflies Among the Flowers,
The Toll of the Temple Bells,
Nostalgia, Beautiful Water Lily on a Silver Lake,
Rain Lashing on the Plantains,
Pacing Horses and
Joyous Celebrations.
The concerts will take place at 7:30pm, at North District Town Hall on February 4; Ko Shan Theatre on February 19 and Sheung Wan Civic Centre on March 1.
