Police, Immigration and Labour Department officers have arrested 13 people for illegal work offences in the New Territories.

The eight illegal workers and five employers were apprehended during raids on 33 workplaces, including restaurants, recycling depots, warehouses, industrial buildings and car park loading areas from 6am to 9.30pm yesterday.

The workers comprise six men and two women. Four men were holders of recognisance forms while one man had a forged Hong Kong identity card.
