Man arrested for drug trafficking

Customs officers have arrested a 37-year-old man at the airport for trafficking 1.8kg of cocaine worth $1.5 million.

 

He was stopped yesterday upon arrival from Bogota, Colombia, via Moscow. Officers found three packs of cocaine inside a hidden compartment in his suitcase.

 

The man, who claimed to be a businessman, will be charged with one count of drug trafficking and will appear at Tsuen Wan Magistracy today.
