1 dead, 1 injured in Wong Tai Sin crash

A 45-year-old driver was arrested for a fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin this afternoon in which a 56-year-old woman died and a 60-year-old man was injured.

 

About 4.20pm, a van turned right onto Tai Shing Street and hit the couple as they were crossing the road.

 

The pair was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where the woman was certified dead at 4.58pm.

 

The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.

 

Witnesses should call 2305 7500 or 2305 7570.
