Immigration staff on Mainland exchange
*

Two Immigration Officers have left for the Mainland on a four-week attachment programme.

The two officers, Johnny Ho and Brian Yung, will be attached to the Beijing Capital International Airport.

Co-organised by the Hong Kong Immigration Department and the Bureau of Entry & Exit Authority in Beijing, the exchange programme also involves two officers from Beijing attached to the Hong Kong International Airport.

Participating officers have the opportunity to learn from each other in terms of efficiency and personal capability. They also bring the experience into practice in their own workplace.

Before leaving for Beijing, the officers met the department's Assistant Director (Control) Chan Man-lang, who said cooperation and communication with the relevant Mainland authorities were increasing.
