Drink driver arrested for fatal accident

Police have arrested a 31-year-old man for a Wan Chai traffic accident in which a 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed.

 

About 10.45am today his car lost control and hit another car at the junction of Hung Hing and Marsh Roads. The driver failed to stop after the accident and hit the motorcycle on the Island Eastern Corridor near the Provident Centre. The rider sustained serious head injuries and died.

 

The driver was arrested for drink driving, dangerous driving and dangerous driving causing death.

 

Witnesses should call Police on 3106 8800 or 3106 8838.
