Customs officers to get 'smart' warrant cards

Customs & Excise Department

Customs officers will use new smart warrant cards from July 1.

 

The card features advanced cryptographic technology with forgery-proof features including security marks on the front, an ultraviolet-fluorescent label on the back, and an implanted chip.

 

The card, made of polyvinylchloride, is greenish yellow with the Customs logo on top.
