Police are offering a $300,000 reward for information on the murderer of an 87-year-old woman in Sham Shui Po on March 7.
She was found bound and gagged on the floor of her Shek Kip Mei Estate flat and confirmed dead at the scene.
Investigators believe a Chinese woman aged 35 to 50 visited the victim on March 4. She is about 157cm tall and fat with short curly hair. She was wearing a yellow long-sleeved jacket, dark trousers and carrying a dark-coloured bag.
Anyone with information on the case or the identity and whereabouts of the Chinese woman should call Police on 2760 5522 or 9108 6395.
The information can also be posted to General Post Office Box No.999, faxed to 2520 2828 or emailed to crimeinformation@police.gov.hk.
The reward will be paid either in full or pro-rata to any person or shared among people giving information leading to the arrest and satisfactory prosecution of the culprits. The reward is valid until October 1.
